Hello

Today I want to show You worklog of sth less boring than rest of mine units  : SS NL11F using Deluxe 0.5kW condensor, all closed in brand-new Chieftec Big Tower case .

Specs  :

Compressor: Danfoss NL11F
Evap: steeper 42mm diameter, braided DN10 suction flex hose
XV: captube 0.9 mm
Condensor: cold-ice custom "deluxe" 0.5kW with riffled tubes
Refrigerant : R507
Case : Chiftec Big Tower (brand new)
Others: Scythe Ultra Kaze fans, fan controller, blue temperature display, PC autostart module

Work till now :

Temperature display, thermostat to start PC automatic , and fan controller - all delivered by future owner of this ... case  .

Also Scythe Ultra Kaze 120x38 mm HIGH flow fans ...

Now case will be limited only for one 5.25' bay ...some big reduction LOL  .

I must move PSU higher to fit all in case ..specially when owner plan to use 164 mm long 650W PSU  .

5.25' panel for controller - I must use old silver 5.25' mask, becasue orginal from Chieftec was not flat  .

All till now ...  .

Regards
Peter

hi,

I am sure, ultra kaze 3000 are performing very well but if you compare the cfm of the ultra kaze 3000rpm and slipstream 1900rpm, you will see only 20cfm in favour to the ultra kaze for 1000rpm more !

The slipstream are the best 120mm fans if you want to install them into a case. When you want a fan to be installed into a heatsink, the ultra kaze is much better, not because they have more airflow but because the static pressure is very increased thanks to blades design.

Hi

Owner of this unit bought those ultrakazes , he bought them cheap  .

Chieftec is already fnished, pictures :

Suction line is another than always , and it have probe for custom thermostat .

Cuting new panel for controller (owner said that old silver one looks very not good with gray case) - few pics later You'll see from where I've picked those plate. Nevertheless - owner said that quality of this new panel is creep . heh so I'm very bad modder :|.

First frost inside case.

Power consumption with no load and loaded with 260W.

Final unloaded and loaded with 260W.

If not that hole in side wall case would look like normal "office computer" case ...who thinks that inside is cooler making -50C ? That's why I like this project.

Should be rather "powered by piotres" .

Perfect work... Coating is also excellent

Coating is chieftec's work   .

I forgot to mention that this ugly hole in side wall will be cutted bigger and filled with plexi or alu mesh by owner .

Also thermostat needs tuning as it can be seen on photo .

I forgot to mention that on move all fans were set on MAX speed that's why cooler is such loud there (unit have fan speed controller as I've already mentioned) . NL11F is noiseless compared to 120x38 mm Ultra Kazes on max speed  . I know on movie it sounds like loudly hoover but in real even on max speed of fans it's more silent    .

Thanks for all comments
