Foxhound's black 2x 1 HP cascade :-D (topic in English)

Hello 

It's mine first post here so I want to say BIG welcome  . Maybe some of You known me from XS or cooling masters forum . Mine nick is same here . I only write in English and Polish  , sorry but I don't speak french  .

So ...I want to present cascade unit which I make for user of this forum- foxhound .

This is VERY typical and quite  boring, ordinary cascade     - metal baseplate (welded frame), plate HX, R507/R1150, no gauges, 2x 13000 BTU,1HP compressors.

So simple, without bling-blings so it's not such expensive as cased cascades .. 

Specs :

compressors: Sanyo remark C-RN110H5A around 13000 BTU so 1HP on both stages
evap: steeper
XVes: Danfoss TS2+ nozzle 01 / captube 0.9 mm
HX: plate HX , 12 plates
condenser: 3.0 Kw, alu-cu, cooled by 300mm/230V fan plus alu-cu 2x120mm desuperheater for 2nd stage
refrigerants : R507/R1150
oilseparator : Temprite 340 + Castell handvalve + Danfoss sightglass
safety : RANCO cut-off, 1.5 litre FACH expansion tank
case : baseplate with welded frame , black painted+ wheels
others: Anaconda shocks absorber on 1st stage's suction line and ...that's all



Frame made by my Father and his helper  . That's a lot Dad .











Only one suction line will be used here, other one is for another order .







































First frost on her pipes . And VERY profi insulation from old cloth . I'm proud of it LOL   .



Unloaded in first tests    .



on 260W dummyload.



1st stage when 2nd stage was cooling 260w .



2nd stage loaded pressures.



uuups mine profi insulation wasn't good enought   



And some sha... , I mean leak tester foam . 



Some black paint ...





Some armaflex ...



Some wiring for safety device ...



Some stickers ... 



and we have it's best temperature unloaded  . Final is I bet sth like -111.



That's on 260W dummyload after last tuning  .



1st stage when 2nd is unloaded.



1st stage when 2nd is loaded 260w.



Handvalve on oilsep allow to work like a hot gas bypass .. temperature can be risen even to sth like -75C.



Final pressures in 2nd stage when it's loaded by 260W.


Sunday I plan to make last load tests and 100% finishing it . Now it's 99% complete . Owner said he'll made all electic wirings by himself. So now it's only ghetto electric for testing .

Wow, really amazing job !!! Wonderful insulation.

Is the fix compatible with Nehalem ? Or is the fix big enough to make additional hole for it ?
